At the July 2002 dry night it was decided to re-introduce charges for qualified members (Sports Diver or above) who wish to hire club equipment. The charges are to help offset the cost of servicing.

Timing

Exceptionally kit may be borrowed for a longer period in which case the fees below represent the weekly rates. If kit is not returned by 7.00pm on Friday a second week's hire will be charged.

Conditions

• Trainees have free use of club kit for all their training up to Sports Diver level, while supervised by an instructor.

• Trainees have priority for the use of club kit. Kit is only lent out to other club members when it is not needed for training.

• Fees must be paid in advance when kit is collected.

• Kit may only be issued for hire by a member of the committee, an instructor, or by someone nominated by them to do so.

• Club members use club kit at their own risk.

• Charges will be levied on all members borrowing kit, except at the discretion of the Diving Officer.

• The DO's decision on all matters is final.

Fees

Weights are not charged for, but must be signed out.
