Red Sea Liveaboard - Sharm El Sheikh 2003

Destination:Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt
BoatSea Queen I
Dates2nd - 9th November 2003
The boat was fully booked with 24 people. Among that 24 were 9 Dive Leaders, 4 Advanced Divers and 11 Sports Divers (including 8 instructors, and 8 Nitrox divers). The itenary was mainly wrecks, but we did do some stunning reef & night dives too.

For me the highlights of the week were getting up at 5.30 in the morning to dive the Roslie Moller (no photos - too deep for our cameras), the redoubtable Thistlegorm, and diving the Canyon on Thomas Reef (again too deep for photos). During the week we

  • Did 445 dives
  • Spent 332 hours underwater.
  • Took 2,800 digital photographs.
  • Bought a lot of Nitrox fills.
